Over the past few years, the event industry has been steadily expanding. Eventbrite estimates that 67% of event organisers anticipate their events to increase in the number of attendees the next year and 39% of those who work in corporate events anticipate their budgets to increase.
The objective of the qualification is to introduce learners to the skills that are required to plan, organise and evaluate events by developing their knowledge and understanding. Areas covered include marketing methods and resources, market research, human resources, communication and customer service relevant to events.
Course Structure
This is an on-line, distance learning course which is accessed via your Internet-connected computer. You can enrol at any time, and it is flexible as you can log on and study when it suits you. Tutor support is available by telephone and email.
The online course contains all the learning content needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course. There are also activities to enable you to practise your skills and test your learning.
To achieve the qualification, you need to complete all 5 units, within 15 weeks.
