Jug Johal

Jug Johal is an experienced executive board director who brings extensive leadership and strategic expertise to his role as a Governor at DN Colleges Group. He is committed to supporting the Group’s mission to deliver high-quality education, training, and skills development that meet the needs of learners, employers, and communities across the region.

In his current role, Jug holds responsibility for the delivery of safe and effective healthcare services across multiple hospital sites. He leads the estates team, overseeing service and estate strategies that ensure safe, secure, and high-quality environments for patients, staff, students, and partners.

Jug holds a Master’s degree in Leadership in Health & Social Care and was recently selected as one of 20 BAME public sector leaders to take part in the Cabinet Office National Leadership Centre’s Chief Executive Accelerator Programme.

A strong advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion, Jug has a long-standing commitment to widening participation and representation. He co-founded the British Asian Rugby Association and continues this work through the Asian Sports Foundation, supporting organisations to break down cultural barriers and increase access to sport.

With strong ties to Lincolnshire and over 40 years’ experience in rugby at club, county, and international level, Jug brings valuable local insight and a deep commitment to community development to DN Colleges Group.
