Thomas Burton is the Director of Apprenticeships at NOCN Group, a UK and International Educational Charity.
Thomas’ career began in Hospitality and Catering in 1998 and was the Senior Sous Chef at Doncaster Racecourse for 6 years, during this time he completed his teacher training at Doncaster College. Thomas continued in Hospitality and Catering and became the culinary project manager at the London 2012 Olympics, where he delivered part of the largest catering operation since World War Two.
Thomas has also spent time as the Executive Head Chef at Forest Pines Resort in North Lincolnshire and taught Hospitality and Catering at both Dearne Valley College and Rotherham College of Arts & Technology.
Thomas, since 2017, has worked to establish the Apprenticeship End Point Assessment Organisation at NOCN Group, as well as delivering Apprenticeship projects in India and the United States.
Thomas has lived and grown up in Doncaster all his life.
