Careers – Parent/Carers

Choosing a course or career

Parents and carers play a vital role in supporting students on their career journey.

If you’re looking for ways to help, encourage them to reflect on and write down:

  • Their career goals and dream job
  • Aspirations for the future
  • Key skills and strengths
  • What they want, and don’t want in a future career

Our Careers Team is here to help with impartial information, advice, and guidance, available in person, by phone, or online via Microsoft Teams.

Starting College

We support students as they transition into college with:

  • Personalised campus tours
  • Attendance at open evenings and events
  • Access to the latest information
  • One-to-one impartial advice and guidance
