Connecting Education and Employment
DN Colleges Group is at the heart of employment capabilities and economic progression for a region that stretches along the east/west corridor from the Sheffield City Region to the Humber and Lincolnshire, with Doncaster and Scunthorpe at our core.
Our unique geographical position has enabled us to form strong partnerships with key regional organisations. Collaboration with The Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), The Humber LEP and The Greater Lincolnshire LEP ensures we support the skills development required to support and drive regional economic growth.
We work closely with Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, North Lincolnshire Council and local Chambers of Commerce to support the economic requirements and training needs of our local employers.
Strong connections between local primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities and employers link our educational hub to our local areas, ensuring we support progression and opportunity across our communities, with our part time options, full time courses and university centres providing progressive learning choices for all our students.
We have formal partnership agreements with several regional universities which validate our higher education courses. These are currently the University of Hull, the University of Lincoln, Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Huddersfield and the University of Cumbria.
